This large AR-15 Instructional Rifle Mat is perfect for beginner like me to use. The mat is nice and thick. Non slip. It has great graphics that is easy to read. It is easy to wipe off the mat after you finish cleaning the AR, Shotgun or the pistols. I liked it so well that I bought one for the Sig Sauer P320.

Bought this mat for cleaning my new AR-15. Since I'm new to the AR platform, this mat has all the takedown instructions I need to guide me through the whole process. The mat's materials are high quality and I really like that non-slide backing while cleaning. Length and width are perfectly sized for my AR556. I have this same style mat (also from Cerus Gear) for my Smith and Wesson M&P. Clean up is a breeze. Worth every penny!

If you were to attempt "perfection" with this AR-15 mat, I'd say to increase the size to actual size of the basic AR-15 so one could lay-out the parts exactly.
